Wear what makes you feel comfortable.
The State Park charges a $10 day use fee, so please keep that in mind. Car pooling is always helpful. The state park is specific when it comes to live flowers. Due to this we will not have any live flowers.

Golden Pines RV and Campground
We have set aside a block for 5 campsites under Barbara Speaks. They will hold these spots until April 30th, 2025. They are 4 minutes away from the venue and if you would like to camp they are a great and close option.

Another great option if you want to stay in Arnold, CA but do not want to camp. Save money by staying with family or friends.

How do we get there?
Answer
If you’re driving Highway 4 will get you there faster but it is pretty windy and becomes a one lane road occasionally. If you’re bringing an RV or tent trailer we suggest that you take interstate 88.

How far away is the venue?
Answer
The venue that we have chosen is about 3hrs and 10minutes away from Carson City Nevada.

Why did you choose this venue?
Answer
Mason grew up in Humboldt County where the redwoods are plentiful. Since the first time Barbara visited she fell in love with the sequoias. Calaveras Big Trees bring the Redwoods to them without the 8hour drive.

Can we bring our children?
Answer
We want to make this a family friendly reception. There will be games, dancing, food, and of course cake.

Will there be alcohol?
Answer
Our venue does not allow any hard alcohol. We will have beer and wine at the venue along with other beverages.
