Travel Note
There are plenty of Airbnb’s in Bozeman, and many are a short walk from our venue, which is already close to downtown Bozeman. That being said, most of the bigger rentals may be further from downtown. It’s not a big city, and driving/parking is a breeze, so book whichever rental suits your travel needs.
Travel Note
We’re not blocking any rooms, but there are a few nice hotels on Main St. and they’re all centrally located. Sapphire Motel has been a fixture of Bozeman since 1940, and still offers retro road-trip charm just west of downtown Bozeman. Lewis and Clark Motel is another iconic and fun downtown option. It features an underground pool, and honestly, we’ve never been inside but the sign is really cool.
Wedding party coming soon!
Yellowstone National Park is about an hour and a half drive from Bozeman. By the middle of May, most of the roads have usually re-opened, but aren't too crowded yet. Check the Park Service website before you go for up-to-date road status.
Cafe Zydeco is surprisingly good Cajun food, lunch-time only. If you're looking for steak, Stacy's is the best spot in town. Albertano's is a low-key Mexican joint, and Hop Lounge has chicken and beer! Mountains Walking is a cool brewery with great pizza, we love to share a flight there. MAP Brewing gets busy, but for good reason! It's a local favorite.
There are endless hikes in and around Bozeman. The Gallatin Canyon, south of town is famous for the Gallatin River, a Blue-ribbon trout stream. You'll also find day-hikes to alpine lakes, hidden waterfalls, and extravagant views. Hyalite Canyon, located off of south 19th Ave, is something you just have to see for yourself. If you just want to do something in town, try Triple Tree, Sypes Canyon, The 'M', or Drinking Horse. the Gallagator trail right off Main st. is really neat. Irwin Bridge fishing access is a good place to find birds.
Norris Hot Springs is a little bit of a drive, but it's a pool built over a natural hot spring, and it's a really cool spot along the Madison River. There are concessions sold, including beer. Bozeman Hot Springs has one natural pool, and some other pools and saunas. It's much more modern than Norris.
The Hideaway is a Montana dive bar, with pretty good bar food. Pub 317 is an Irish Pub on Main. Lockhorn Ciderhouse is tucked away and quiet, but still downtown. Also the cider is delicious.
Funky formal! Time to pull out that fun dress or tie you never get to wear! Color is strongly encouraged! Please keep In mind May in Montana can be a bit unpredictable, it may get a bit chilly in the evening. A jacket or coat is recommended just in case!
Yeah. Bozeman is a college town, and a tourist town. We have plenty of amenities, even a Costco.
Absolutely! We’ll even have some activities for the kids at the reception.
Yes. TBD but we plan on hitting the nearby bars after 10PM.
We kindly ask that you RSVP as soon as possible, this will help us out a lot! But no later than March 1st, please. Thank you!
No. It’s just a 50-80 calorie walk away (.7 miles, ~12 minutes). You should also be able to find parking pretty easily if you drive over. But we recommend walking anyway, so you can see some neat historic houses.
