The Short Story
We met in one of the most unexpected places: as neighbors in our apartment building. Working late nights, we often missed each other, but fate had other plans. We lost touch for a bit when Brittany bought her first house, but we reconnected by chance on a night out. Little did we know, this mutual love for soulful music and black culture in that encounter would change our lives forever. What started as a business connection—Mike offering his design skills for Brittany's brand—soon blossomed into friendship and then into a beautiful romance. Together, we've navigated life's challenges and celebrated its triumphs, always supporting and encouraging each other's entrepreneurial dreams. We're thrilled to share this special day with our loved ones as we embark on a new chapter together, filled with love, laughter, and endless possibilities.

What is the wedding attire?
Answer
We kindly request that our guests wear cocktail to semi-formal attire in all black, accented with plum or sage. For example: Think a little black dress with an emerald green velvet shawl, a black suit with a sage green pocket square, or a fancy black jumpsuit with plum earrings, heels, or purse.
Question
Will I be allowed to take personal pictures?
Answer
Our ceremony is intimate to us and we ask that guests keep cell phones, tablets, and cameras tucked away until the cocktail hour. We have hired photographers and videographers to capture all of our precious moments. There will be plenty of time to catch a selfie or usie!

Can I post to social media?
Answer
We ask that you refrain from posting to social media for the entire night. There will be an announcement for further instructions on posting to any/all social media at a specific point during the reception.
