Our wedding attire is formal Black Tie. We kindly request all guests to attire themselves in either dark hues (particularly black) or neutrals. Additionally, we encourage ladies to opt for elegant floor-length gowns to complement the formal ambiance of the event.
Please plan to arrive by 5:45 pm to ensure that everyone is gathered in the atrium before the ceremony commences promptly at six o'clock. Kindly note that the ceremony entrance will be located on the side of the venue, distinct from the main entrance. Look out for signage & our ushers, who will guide you. Following the ceremony, cocktail hour awaits you. Indulge in passed hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and beverages before transitioning to dinner. For our out-of-town guests, brace for the unique experience of August in Texas, marked by heat and humidity. Rest assured, we've made every effort to provide the necessary arrangements to ensure your comfort and enjoyment during your stay. During cocktail hour, we kindly request our guests not to enter the reception room. We're thrilled to see the faces of our guests! As the Youth Pastor at Grace Community Church, the spiritual home of Mandy and Cobi, Ray, along with his wife Olivia, holds a special place in the couple's hearts as dear friends. The Strand
Galveston's Historic Strand District, or The Strand, is the heart of the island and a great place to shop, dine and be entertained. Fronting Galveston Bay, The Strand is a National Historic Landmark that harkens back to Galveston's heyday in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Many of the buildings here are more than a century old, stunning in their detail and craftsmanship. Storefronts here are a mix of antique shops, art galleries, souvenir shops and more. The Strand is also home to an assortment of restaurants, from Mexican to seafood. And be sure to stop in at La King's Confectionery for a sweet treat. The Strand serves as the commercial center of downtown Galveston. In and around the district are nightclubs, hotels and much more. There are also a number of entertainment options, including the Ocean Star Offshore Energy Center and Museum, Pier 21 Theater, the Texas Seaport Museum and the tall ship Elissa.

If you have time during your visit, stop by and ask for an Old Fashioned (Cobi's Favorite) or the Hell Flower (Mandy's Favorite). You won't be disappointed!!

Room blocks are available at The Tremont House and The San Luis Resort and Spa in Galveston. We are working on other accommodations for guests who may want to stay at another location.

Yes, there is a designated parking lot for guests who choose to drive to the wedding.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Yes, we have arranged transportation from The San Luis Resort to Willowynn starting at 4:45 pm, the afternoon of our wedding. Transportation will also be returned to the hotel after the wedding ends.

Yes, we have a funfilled weekend planned to continue celebrating! We hope you can join us at the San Luis after the wedding. The San Luis Resort is an all-inclusive resort on Galveston Island! Be ready for a fun-filled weekend if you choose to join us!
