There's plenty to explore if you're visiting from out of town! Savage Mill – Our venue is located at Historic Savage Mill, a 19th-century cotton mill with unique shops (check out pottery painting and classes at clay coven!), cafes (check out Roggernart!), and scenic walking trails along the Little Patuxent River (cross the bridge at Savage Mill to see a little trail leading down to a good swimming spot). Ellicott City (15 minutes away) – Stroll through historic Main Street, browse local boutiques, enjoy coffee or ice cream, find great Korean BBQ, and explore one of Maryland's most charming small towns. Baltimore (30 minutes away) – Visit the Inner Harbor, tour the National Aquarium, explore the artsy neighborhoods of Fells Point and Hampden, or enjoy Baltimore's vibrant food scene. Washington, DC (35–45 minutes away) – Spend the day exploring world-class museums, monuments, and neighborhoods like Georgetown, Capitol Hill, or The Wharf. Whether you're looking for history, great food, shopping, or sightseeing, there are plenty of options nearby to make a weekend out of your visit!
