We can't wait for you to come bear witness and celebrate our big day this summer. We are hard at work, researching and planning a ceremony and reception that we're hoping will be an amazing party that we'll all remember for years to come. Hopefully for all the right reasons! As we all lead very busy lives and this invitation is slightly short notice, could you please let us know if you can make it to the wedding by July 1st. If you can't make it in person, don't worry, we'll be livestreaming the wedding ceremony on Zoom and you can celebrate with us virtually! Our story began on one fateful April Fool's day back in 2023. A girl named Mira was scrolling on a dating app called Hinge while on a lovely dinner date with her good friend Jojo when she stumbled upon this guy. Initially she didn't want to reach out because she was afraid that despite being cute he might not like her back. However Jojo convinced her otherwise. Also, he had a bearded lizard, and so she swiped. Enter, a boy named Mark who was sitting at home twiddling his thumbs after work who felt his phone buzz and had a look. It was a picture of a moody, tropical island girl in sunny paradise. Jackpot. He swiped back. Her first message was, 'Omg do you own a bearded lizard???' He said, 'No.' She was catfished. He seemed nice though so she gave him a chance anyway. They hit it off after discovering a shared interest in movies, music, video games and food, and the rest was history. Mark and Mira have now been together for 3 years, visited each other's countries, gone on many travels together, and have been living together for 2 years. They have finally decided to get married and be each other's April fool for life.
