His & Her StoryHis & Her Story

We connected through videos, voice calls, and chats. Most of the events in our relationship took place online, at different times and places. Now, here's our story from each distance across.

His Story I met Leywie three years ago by chance through her work friend, James. They had some free time and James suggested a chat site to Leywie. When we first saw each other, we didn't talk right away; we were making funny faces. Then we had a great chat about music and dance, which we both like. I thought Leywie was lovely, polite, and shy, and I was really taken by her. I felt comfortable with her. Leywie asked if we could stay in touch, and we added each other on WhatsApp. We've talked every day since then. I knew I was falling in love with Leywie when I really missed her. I felt that I wanted her to be happy and achieve her dreams. That’s when I realized I loved her completely and would always give her my all. In our relationship, we've faced some challenges. One time, Leywie had stomach pain that she had gotten used to. I told her to see a doctor, and she found out she had a big gallbladder stone that needed surgery. Thankfully, the surgery went well, and it was done just in time. Leywie was very brave, and going through that together brought us closer. We finally met in person after a year of talking online. We wanted to get to know each other better first. Meeting Leywie at the airport is one of my best memories. I was very tired from the trip and fell asleep in her arms, happy to see someone so special. That moment has stayed with me and gives me strength until we meet again. Like all relationships, ours hasn’t been easy. The biggest challenge has been the distance and waiting to see each other. Our love and commitment helped us through tough times. I learned to be patient and to trust each other. Our faith in God and our faithfulness kept us strong. We knew one day we would get married and share our lives together, seeing each other every day and supporting each other. I’m very proud of both of us for staying committed for the past three years. We often say our relationship feels like a real-life love story. Now, what we dreamed about is finally coming true. I feel like the luckiest man in the world. Her Story James started it all. Without him, I wouldn't be on this path. He's responsible for whatever happens in my marriage. Just kidding. While he waited for me to finish work so he could lock up the office, he spent time on Omegle. After I was done working, I did the same thing, but this time I was waiting for him. I chatted with a few people until Mark showed up. He seemed goofy, I thought. We made faces and laughed. I felt a strong connection right away, like talking to a friend I hadn't seen in a while. We started talking everyday and eventually dated. We met in person for the first time at the airport a year after. When I saw him, I felt a warmth. He is warm. During the taxi ride, I held his hand to comfort him since he was new to the country. Surprisingly, he proposed right after we arrived at his place, as soon as he put down his luggage. It was a night to remember! On his visits, he met my friends and family, joined me at church, and visited my workplace. He's smart, well-mannered, kind, and gwapo. I admire Mark's courage, and his life story touched my heart deeply. We had our moments. In that time, we built trust and learned to love each other without expecting anything in return. He's always thoughtful and helpful, which was different for me, but I got used to it. Seeing his sweet smile when he opens the door and that one hug in public are my favorite moments with him. Though I felt shy about the public affection, it was wonderful. We faced challenges with distance, different time zones, and misunderstandings, but we overcame them all. We both believe in the same things about marriage, family, love, trust, and our faith in Jesus. Few months after dating, we prayed about our future. We look forward to living together, caring for each other, and starting our own family. We're giving our marriage plans to God. God has chosen this time for us, even though we didn't have a timeline. I couldn't be happier.
