Marcelo and Mariesa were young, dumb and full of… debt as students at USC. They worked at Campus Cruiser, where Mariesa was the resident pseudo-dental person, Marcelo was the resident ladies man. Even though they crossed paths at work, it wasn’t until a Super Bowl party that they caught each other’s eye. Marcelo rizzed up Mariesa, Mariesa accidentally burned Marcelo’s hand with a lighter, and then they went their own ways until a few months later where they met up again at a Cruiser Cinco De Mayo party. There they caught each other’s eye and spent the rest of the time laughing, talking and sparking a little connection ( no burns this time). Then they fell in love ❤️ Just kidding, a month passed before Marcelo finally asked Mariesa out on their first date. THEN they fell in love ❤️ Just kidding again. Mariesa moved to San Francisco while Marcelo studied abroad. They decided to remain friends but stay in contact. For about 6 months they chatted frequently, sharing each other’s adventures, experiences and keeping their connection going. After Marcelo returned, they had a few dates before Mariesa not so demurely asked “ Are we exclusive or what?”. Then she asked a few months later “ Are we boyfriend and girlfriend or what?”. Finally…. they fell in love.
