The sparks started flying the Fall of 2019 in the cafeteria of Western High School. We were volunteering with Greenhouse Church, learning to be the best ushers you'd ever seen. Boy met girl. They fell in love. Grew apart in order to grow up. And God brought them back to each other, just in time. Now, they know what Love is, what Love means, and are better for it, together.
Abe planned the most perfect day. It started with a romantic brunch at Maple & Cream. Then we went to Painting with a Twist (Maria loves to paint!!) where Abe showed off his ambidextrous skills. After that, Abe told Maria they were going on a guided tour at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. While at the park, Abe got down one knee in front of a big ancient Banyan Tree and asked Maria to be his wife. After Maria said yes, they celebrated with family at the restaurant in the park, surrounded by love. Now, we are here! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
3:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Wear whatever makes you feel happy, comfortable and confident! For those of you who need direction, semi-formal or dressy casual is best.
We are getting married under beautiful trees- that means grass. Do not wear stilettos! We don't want you breaking a leg- unless it's on the dance floor!
Hotel
We LOVE Hilton, especially Double Tree! It is a perfect location to access all the great spots, and you'll get free cookies! The only requirement is to bring a few for the groom upon arrival to the wedding!
We'll post our registry here when we're finished building it. Thank you in advance!
We went on our first date here, back when it was called MASHED. That day changed everything. And it has yummy food!
Where we had our second first date, and God brought us back together.
Maria's favorite park. She loves taking Zach here!
Where Abe dominates the sand while playing volleyball!
Please RSVP as soon as possible, as it will allow us to properly plan for you. For those who procrastinate, please RSVP by January 15th, 2024.
Yes! We are registered on our other websites such as With Joy, as well as Amazon! Simply search for Abe or Maria Bailey, or "Beloved Baileys" and we will pop up!
The ceremony starts at 3:30 promptly, so South Floridians, please be there by 1:00pm. The rest of you can arrive between 2:00 and 3:00pm. (This is a joke. Please be there between 2-3pm)
This is currently a limited-kid zone wedding, but if you have kids that you want to bring, kindly reach out to Abe or Maria. We want to accommodate you as best we can!
We have prayed hard about who to include on the guestlist out of the many many people we love, and already had to make some very difficult cuts to our list. If your invite does not already include a plus-one, please kindly reach out to Abe or Maria and we will see if we can accommodate your additional guest.
