We met at the Goshen Fair in 2007, when Austen was in a wheelchair with a broken femur. We didn't know that one afternoon of talking and hanging out would turn into a lifetime change.
A few days of talking on the phone, we went on our first date September 7, 2007. We saw 310 to Uma.
As we got to know each other, time flew and things got serious pretty quickly. Before we knew it, we were meeting each other's families and were included in just about everything.
We decided after the first year, to move into an apartment together with the kids. We knew before long we were going to spend our lives together.
With everything that has happened throughout 2020, we decided that this is the perfect time to tell the world, our families, and friends. We plan to spend our lives together. With the pandemic, we have decided to do a small ceremony with just our parents and kids, and we hope you can all support that choice. We do plan to celebrate next year, and we will share the information once we have decided on the details and have them set.
