Travis and Makayla's story started the first evening of his sophomore year, and her freshman year at Tarleton State. After a few days, Trav and Kayla went on their first official date at Casa Azteca, followed by many more over that fall semester. Since then, the two have grown even deeper in love but most importantly, deeper in their shared faith in their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Pushing each other daily to learn and strengthen that faith, but most importantly, submitting to him. Kayla is now in the midst of nursing school, working towards her B.S. in Nursing. Trav received his B.S in Animal Science, and is now working on his Masters in Animal Science, looking to reach vet school after graduation. In what little free time they do have, Travis and Makayla enjoy live music, antiquing, studying scripture, going to movies, and especially feeding and talking about cattle... well, maybe just Travis on that last one. As their passion for their careers, and education grows, they both also look forward to starting a family that serves the Lord with all their hearts.
