Maid of Honor
Faith is Magdalene’s older sister, and has graciously taken a break from leading (and sometimes rescuing) children through wilderness backpacking trips and outdoor education excursions in the mountains of Colorado to endure the esteemed honor of the role of Maid of Honor. Musically gifted (which is putting it lightly) and known spikeball lover and victor, she will likely be found out on the dance floor or winning rounds of cornhole.
Matron of Honor
Younger (but in no way lesser) sister to Magdalene, there is no one better than Lucy to accompany her sister in her special day as Matron of Honor. Kind-hearted and confident, Lucy daylights as a counselor/social worker to the youths of Mississippi, changing lives and supporting young students. If you’re looking for her this evening, you’ll likely spot her throwing down brutal Uno moves and singing along to pop songs with abandon :)
Bridesmaid
Lindsey, Magdalene’s steadfast childhood friend, has spent many years teaching her that joy is something you commit to and that life resides just at one’s fingertips :) She spends her days being a “traffic doctor” (as the happy couple fondly refers to her work she does for the city of Charlotte), and is often found in her free time enjoying a night out or exploring a new city with friends. She’ll likely be spotted striking up a conversation with a stranger, or sharing a laugh with her partner Mike.
Best Man
Chad is Maxwell’s best man, and longtime voted “dad” of their friend group, though this is largely founded in the paternal phrase of “do as I say and not as I do.” Between hours spent helping out at the local hospital and operating his welding business that takes him on jobs all across the DMV, it’s safe to say though he may get into trouble, he’s certified in getting himself out of it. Will often be found spending his free hours relaxing with his dogs, or doting on his fiancée Jena as any good man should :)
Groomsman
Chuck has been Maxwell’s partner in crime since Elementary School, and this is shown in the way they seem to, at times, share a brain. Chuck’s true claim to fame though, is his ability to make the best steak dinner that the happy couple has ever eaten, though most meals at Chuck and Carlye’s is the best meal. A skilled welder and loving father, Chuck spends his days hardworking, and his evenings bluffing his way through poker hands with friends.
Groomsman
Dillon, another member of Max’s friend group, is endearing as he is clever. A steadfast friend and animal lover, all attributed to his kind soul. Any conversation with him will have you laughing endlessly, and leaving already hoping for the next one. A true light, Dillon is always down for any sort of adventure, whether it’s exploring a comic book store in a remote town, or playing through a vintage video game on a console he recently restored.
