Our Story
Just like every other couple, Christian and Madyson met on a dating app where she made the first move. They were faced with many challenges early on in their relationship, but knew if they came together and put in the effort their relationship would come out stronger. After quickly moving in together, adopting two kitties, moving into their first apartment and eventually buying a house, Christian decided to make it official. He proposed in the couples new home with their kitties on June 20th, 2023. With a deployment quickly coming, Christian and Madyson decided to marry in an intimate ceremony with two of their best friends in Boise, Idaho on July 4th, 2023. After a 7 month deployment, the two are so excited to celebrate one year of marriage with their wedding in Murray on the 4th of July, 2024.

We have blocked a total of 20 rooms at this hotel for our guests for two nights, from July 3rd through July 5th. These rooms are two queen beds and the rate is locked in at $140 per night plus tax. In order to book with our block, call the hotel and ask for a room within the Dahncke Wedding Party. The group code is DWP. The block will be held until June 21st, 2024. After that, the code and discount will no longer be applicable.

Best Western University Inn
We have booked a 10-room hotel block at the Best Western for one night, July 4th through July 5th. The rate is locked at $100 plus tax and is intended for those who have to travel a couple hours and would like to stay in town one night. The rooms are two double beds. To book here, please call and request a room in the Vaught-Dahncke wedding party. This hotel block will close 10 days from the wedding, on June 24th, 2024. After that, the code and discount will no longer be applicable.

For our guests who are flying in, we recommend flying into the St. Louis Airport (STL) or the Nashville Airport (BNA). STL is about a 3 hour drive from the town of Murray, KY. BNA is about a 2 hour drive from the town of Murray, KY. The following are airlines who offer flights to those airports: -Southwest Airlines -American Airlines -Delta Airlines

How long will the wedding be?
Answer
The entire wedding (including the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception) will be about 5 hours.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
The weather in July is often hot and humid. Please dress accordingly. Drinks will be provided as well as shade and places to sit inside.

Do I need to RSVP on the website and with the RSVP card?
Answer
No, we have offered both options but only one needs to be used. We have provided the RSVP card and return envelopes that have already been addressed and stamped for those who prefer to use the RSVP card.

Can I bring other guests who are not on my invitation?
Answer
Please do not bring a plus one or other guests unless specified on your invitation. When you RSVP, you will be able to RSVP for your entire party. If there is someone not available to RSVP, please do not bring them. If a member of your family has been left off the invitation and you have questions, please reach out to Madyson or Christian.

Are children allowed to attend the wedding?
Answer
If your children are listed on your wedding invitation and available to RSVP for, then yes they have been invited. If you have children who have not been listed on the invitation, please do not bring them to the wedding.

We are unable to attend the wedding, but would still like to congratulate the couple. Does the couple have a registry?

Yes, Madyson and Christian have created a wedding registry that is listed on this same website under “registry”.

Will food be provided?
Answer
Yes, during cocktail hour there will be small hors d’oeuvres offered. There will also be a dinner buffet during the ceremony.

We will be serving a BBQ buffet.

Will there be alcohol offered? Will soft drinks be offered?

We will have both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages available. We will be having an open bar, while supplies lasts. Please drink responsibly and respectfully.

I am unable to attended the wedding, do I still need to RSVP?

Yes, please RSVP and decline your wedding invitation to let the couple know you will not be able to make it.
