Alex and I actually started talking through Twitter. Alex says he saw me one day at the trainers office before going to track practice, he tells me he thought I was beautiful, but the trainer, Miss Laura, who I was close with at the time told him I was off limits. The story always cracks me up.

During all of this Covid madness we continued to stay sane by hanging out with some friends and drinking wine. We were fortunate to find a small winery located a little more than an hour from us in Bad Axe, Mi. We had taken a few trips to this winery, but this trip was a little different because my friends convinced me that it was the PERFECT day for nice pictures. Little did I know it would be the day that Alex would propose. So, while we're taking pictures Alex snuck up behind us and got down on one knee.. I was elated! I, of course, said yes!
