How Our Story Began

You've Got Mail

Funny enough, our story starts online. I had been following a creator named CircleToonsHD, and when he announced a Discord server for fans, I decided to join. Nick joined as well, since he was friends with Circle’s brother and wanted to help out. Neither of us realized that a simple decision like that would bring us together and change everything. There was something about Nick that immediately stood out. Maybe it was his quirky sense of humor, the way he lit up when talking about video games and anime (which just happened to match my own interests), or maybe it was that unexplainable spark you sometimes feel with someone. Whatever it was, I eventually decided to reach out and send him a message. I thought, why not? That message turned into long chats, voice calls, and a connection that kept growing. We started looking forward to talking every day, and before we knew it, this friendship was turning into something much more. Long-distance wasn’t easy. Living in different states meant dealing with time differences and constantly missing each other. But we made it work, because deep down, we both knew this connection was worth holding on to. Eventually, we decided to meet in person in Atlanta. We were nervous and excited, but from the moment we saw each other, everything felt natural. Finally sharing real moments together just confirmed what we already knew — this was something real. Then the world changed. The pandemic hit, and being apart became even harder. Nick made the big decision to move to Wisconsin so we could be together. It was a huge step, but the right one. Since then, we’ve built a life together filled with love, laughter, and the occasional chaos from our cats. Now, we are stepping into our next chapter, and we are so excited to celebrate it with the people who mean the most to us.

Wedding Party

Madii

Bride

The star of the show

Suzanne

Maid of Honor

Over ten years ago, a simple sweet gesture started something neither of us could have predicted. It all began when Suzanne (Suzi) hearing that Madii had just lost her grandpa, offered her a bag of Albanese gummies to help brighten her day. From this thoughtful gesture a friendship that would grow into one of the most meaningful connections of our lives began. Suzi has recently received her MS in clinical counseling psychology & is working towards becoming an LPC. She love's sweet treats, red pandas, & The Nightmare Before Christmas. Madii is honored to have one of the most important people in her life be her maid of honor during her big day.

Alana

Matron of Honor

Alana is not only Nicks sister but a genuinely lovely human being who has welcomed Madii with open arms and an open heart, making her feel like family right away. Alana’s kindness, warmth, and caring nature shine in everything she does, and having her as part of this journey has been wonderful. She’s the kind of person who lights up a room and brings so much love and joy to those around her. Madii is beyond grateful to have Alana by her side, not just as a sister-in-law but as family.

Alex

Best Man

Nick and Alex’s friendship goes back over 20 years! What started as casual conversations on the bus ride home from school and playing video games together, quickly turned into a friendship that has lasted through the test of time. Alex currently lives in Colorado with his wonderfully amazing girlfriend Tonya and their dog Balthazar. He loves building things and doing astrophotography. Nick is honored to have Alex by his side as his Best Man on this special day.

Mike

Groomsman

Nick met Mike over 13 years ago playing games. What started as building things together in Minecraft with others in an online community quickly turned into a friendship with countless laughs, and late night gaming sessions. Mike has been more than just a gaming buddy he’s been a loyal friend through thick and thin. Whether it's playing games or navigating life's ups and downs, Mike has always had Nick’s back. Outside of playing games with friends Mike spends his time taking care of his parents and helping to run his fathers window cleaning business. There’s no one better to stand by his side on this big day.

Brian

Groomsman

Nick met Brian through Suzi five years ago and it didn’t take long for them to hit it off. Bonding over a shared love of video games, anime, and tabletop games, their friendship grew naturally. Nick is grateful to have him as part of this journey and is proud to have him standing by his side on this special day.
