Our story began while working on a production of Camelot — Daniel as Lancelot, the literal knight in shining armor, and Madelyn as the stage manager. It was love from the moment we met, but of course, we spent months caught in a dance of stolen glances, avoiding eye contact, and confiding our feelings to everyone except each other. Finally, on the last weekend of shows, Daniel found Madelyn's face very close to his after singing a karaoke duet and decided to shoot his shot. Soon after, Daniel asked Madelyn out on our proper first date to Fifth Avenue South, the cozy bar across the street from the theatre. Things were going well...too well...to the point where Daniel was dreading going back to New York and leaving Madelyn behind. So, Daniel suggested Madelyn fly to New York City for their second date. Madelyn thought that was a little crazy, but her sister said "yolo" so she decided why not (thanks HK!). Those two days in New York were some of the best of our lives, and by the end of the trip, we knew we had found something real. For the next year of long-distance dating, every visit was better than the last. Exactly one year after our first date, Daniel brought Madelyn back to Fifth Avenue South. This time, after a drink, we walked to the beach to watch the sunset, and Daniel got down on one knee and proposed. As we look forward to the next chapter of our story, we’re so excited to celebrate our love with all of you.

Famous, delicious pizzeria under Brooklyn Bridge.
See what's going on - you have opera, theater, ballet, and more!
Iconic. Lives up to the hype. Shakespeare in The Park might be happening at the Delacort? See if you can enter the lottery for free tickets!
Best bagels in the area in Daniel's not-to-humble opinion.
Lots of fun stuff to see in Williamsburg.
Great and historic neighborhood to walk around and see the sites and maybe find some food or coffee or a drink.
Go up top! It's not too expensive and it's a beautiful view.
As soon as you possibly can! If we don’t hear back from you by January 30th we are assuming we will be missing you!
All we want for our registry is a FABULOUS HONEYMOON! Contribute to our cash fund to help us out!
Doors open at 8:45am and the ceremony starts at 9am. Don’t worry - we have unlimited coffee (and mimosas 😉) at our reception brunch!
Think classy brunch! Even those in the bridal parties are wearing whatever their heart desires! (Madelyn is wearing a very fancy dress and Daniel is wearing a tux, but we plan on being the fanciest people at the party) Keep in mind that summer it is HOT in NY, and the reception is about a 20-minute walk from the venue.
Please, only bring a date if your invitation specifically says +1. We cannot have any more than 50 people in the gardens!
Please do!! Our reception venue will accommodate any and all food allergies and restrictions, just let us know asap!
Noooo - walk, take the subway, or Uber!
