Our Love Story

Jordy and Madeline went on their first date to Geronimos on October 3rd, 2022 after matching on Hinge. They both agreed the food was "okay" but Madeline had no idea just how much of a foodie Jordy was at the time. Now, restaurants are a very important part of their travels, with extensive research on the best places to eat. Jordy knew Madeline was leaving for Salt Lake City, UT during their first date, but what he didn't know is that in about 2 years, he would get to see Utah with Madeline when they moved cross country together. Madeline and Jordy have now traveled to 23 states together. They continue to travel (& eat) with their beautiful daughter Scotland Sofia.

Victoria and Madeline met freshmen year of college. Over the years, they developed a close friendship filled with memories and funny stories. Madeline visited Victoria when she studied abroad in Scotland their junior year. Victoria visited Madeline in DC and Boston during her travel contracts. Victoria is witty, organized, and creative, making her the perfect woman for the job!

Abby has held many roles in Madeline's life. Friend, travel bestie, godmother to Scottie, and now bridesmaid. Abby and Madeline have been hiking, ATVing, ziplining, and pool bar lounging throughout their friendship and plan to continue the fun in the years to come (even if it means leaving the kids and husbands home)!

Jill and Madeline became friends when they were both on the track and field team in high school. They both went to SCSU where they were neighbors in the dorm. From track meets, to house parties, and now book club, their friendship has evolved through all the stages.

Alexis will never let Madeline forget that she put her left hand out to shake when her and Alexis met during move in freshmen year. That encounter was the first of many chaotic moments they have shared over the last decade. Watch out for Alexis on the dance floor, rumor has it she will tackle you if given the chance.

Jenna is the OG "swend" who grew up across the street from Madeline their whole life. They lived in their backyards playing mermaids in the pool. When Jenna transferred to SCSU, they played back the old scenes of Aquamarine when they took a college swimming course together.

Natasha and Madeline quickly fell into the role of sisters when they became roommates (yes, that included petty fighting). Natasha has embraced Madeline throughout all seasons of her life, and has showed that same love to Scotland Sofia. Natasha and Scottie will be walking down the aisle together!

Jullian and Jordy have been best friends since High School. Jordy would describe Jullian as his brother. They have been able to share all their important memories together, with this wedding being the next one!

Aidan and Jordy first met at THC! They have an unbreakable bond after surviving backpacking in the Grand Canyon together, a truly unforgettable experience. They've shared laughs, drinks, and an unconditional love for Scottie. Not only is Aidan a groomsmen, he is Scottie's Padrino (aka Godfather).

Kurt and Madeline worked together in Boston, but she was just the middleman to bring this bromance together. Kurt and Jordy hit it off so well, Jordy agreed to move to Phoenix, AZ with Madeline (because Kurt was there...kidding, kind of). They spend their time golfing together and enjoying good food, whether it was prepared by Jordy or from a carefully selected restaurant that Jordy researched.

Eddie and Jordy’s relationship goes deeper than the sun poisoning Eddie got in the DR. Eddie is the big brother Jordy never had. He is always there to make Jordy laugh when he’s in a funk, impart his yo no sabe wisdom, and always stands by Jordy. Just know, when you see Jordy with a fresh haircut, he has Eddie to thank!

John is Jordy’s Turkish Brother. Long before they were close, their dads enjoyed watching them play basketball together. They have bonded together over their shared family values and big hearts. You can find John and Jordy poolside at the grills, making friends with everyone as they offer to share their food.
