It’s all happening
Remember how we said “we’ll have our official wedding soon”? Well, this one has been 11 years in the making. We met, we dated and less than a year later … we got married. It was all so rushed that we ended up saying “I do” in our old house with only 5 friends as witnesses and a takeout order of Indian food to celebrate. Now it’s time to do it right, with family, more friends and a real party. Let’s eat, be merry, and toast to being together so many years later!

Festive and fun. Might get a bit cool at night. Shoes you can walk in a garden with.
We’ll enjoy drinks, mingling and a brief ceremony that will start at 5.30pm, followed by dinner and merriment. Don’t overthink your outfits, but know that this is more than our typical backyard bash. We’ll have a photographer, so dress to your heart’s content. If you’re happy, we’re happy. The funkier, the better!

Where to stay
There are tons of cute Airbnbs near our home for those of you coming from out of town. We recommend anywhere in Kirkwood, East Lake, Edgewood, East Atlanta or Candler Park/Lake Claire, as those are close by and adorable residential areas. Avoid staying in Oakhurst and the Little Five Points area this weekend due to events and street closures. Other options are Hotel Clermont, Hampton Inn & Suites Decatur/Emory, the newly opened Hotel Granada or The Georgian Terrace.

As tempting as it would be to get rid of all Matt’s sauces, we’ll be catering this one. Meat, veggie and gluten free options are in the plan, if you have other dietary restrictions we don’t know about, please let us know!
