Our eyes first met at the stairwell in high school

From classmates to friendships to saying yes to forever

It all started in a high school stairwell, where our eyes first met. I was a busy bee, always buzzing around with school sports and clubs, while Alec was the quiet introvert who somehow got roped into every after-school activity I ran. Against his will? Maybe. Supportive anyway? Always. After graduation, we stayed in touch, checking in on each other from time to time. Years later, after I returned from Switzerland, we reconnected over gelato, and the rest was history. In February 2025, Alec asked my parents for permission to marry their daughter. On May 3rd, 2025, he proposed at Lincoln Park Zoo, surrounded by both of our families. Then in August, we celebrated our traditional engagement party with loved ones. From classmates to friends to saying yes to forever, our journey has been filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of adventure. Now, we’re planning our wedding and couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.

Travel

Flight

For our guests flying in

For our out-of-town guests: • Domestic flights: We recommend flying into Chicago Midway Airport (MDW)—it’s closer to the city and often easier to navigate. • International flights: We recommend O’Hare International Airport (ORD), which offers more global connections and services. Both airports are accessible by public transit, rideshare, or rental car.

Registry

Your presence at our wedding means the world to us, and we’re truly grateful for your love and support. While we deeply appreciate your thoughtful gestures, we kindly ask that gifts be given in the form of cash contributions. This will help us start our next chapter together and make meaningful memories as we build our future. Thank you for celebrating with us, we can’t wait to share this special day with you!
