Join Luis, Tim and our families for an iconic Chicago afternoon. *** 2:30pm - 3:30pm at the NORTHMAN BEER & CIDER GARDEN. (DRINKS ARE ON THE HOUSE) We are meeting first for some beer, wine and soft drinks. (233 E. Riverwalk - down the stairs from the SE corner of the Michigan Ave bridge to the Chicago River Walk). We reserved the riverside patio to enjoy the company, the view and a few drinks before our tour. Luis and Tim will provide wrist bands so your beer, wine, cider and soft drinks are covered. You can purchase other drinks or food on your own tab as well. *** 3:30pm (SHARP) to 5:30pm CAC's CHICAGO ARCHITECTURAL RIVER TOUR This is a "MUST SEE" event for anyone visiting Chicago. It's a very short walk over to the boarding gate for Chicago's First Lady for our 1.5 hour Chicago River Tour. IMPORTANT: Purchase tickets ASAP as these tours fill up quickly. Tickets are $54 per person. To purchase tickets call (312) 922-3432 (option 3). Make sure tickets are for the 4 PM departure on Oct 4th.

Jog or DIVVY Bike to the Montrose Harbor an EPIC Chicago Pic

MORNING JOG/BIKE EVENT BEFORE OUR BACINO'S LUNCH (optional) - Everyone is welcome! We will gather in front of 2800 N. Lake Shore Drive by the DIVVY Bike station for a comfortable (11 min pace) 4.5 mile run along one of our favorite running loops, and stop for a picture at our favorite photo op location (the skyline as seen through the entrance to Montrose Harbor). Those who want to bike can check out a DIVVY bike (using the LYFT App) at our starting point. This is 100% trail or path running along the lakeshore trail. Participants also have the option of running 1/2 and biking 1/2 of this route. There is another DIVVY station at our turn-around point for those who wish to bike back, or park their bike and run back. If you arrive early between 9am and 10am, please come up to our unit 2302 for a quick coffee and doughnut before we head out :)

This is an informal event where you can get together with Luis and Tim for a casual outdoor lunch and drink in their virtual "backyard" next to the Diversey Driving Range (golf). This is one of our favorite spots where our neighborhood gathers for good food, drink and conversation. There are always enough dogs here as well if you need to get your puppy fix :) The drinks are on us! We encourage you to take advantage of their great pizzas, paninis, burgers and tasty appetizers as well (food ordered on your own tab). This event is weather dependant, so check back here the morning of the event for any updates.

This hotel is a great location for your Chicago stay and just a few blocks from our condo and venue. It has a ton of food, shopping and transportation options within walking distance too. It has a local, artsy vibe and definitely geared towards those in town for a Cubs game (just up Clark St). Check best rates on Hotel Tonight, Hotwire and Booking.com

This boutique hotel is also just blocks away from our condo and venue. It is just around the corner from Hotel Versey and just as close to all of the restaurants, shopping and transportation. This hotel is a little more quaint on Surf Street, and just of Broadway which has tons of amazing eating options with less traffic.

O'Hare International Airport
If flying into O'Hare (ORD), you can easily get into the city without a car. Just follow the Blue CTA train signs from baggage claim, down to the next lower level that connects all terminals. All CTA Blue Line Trains head towards downtown from ORD. We recommend getting off at the Logan Square stop if staying in Lakeview or Lincoln Park. If you get off at Logan Square, head out the Kedzie Ave exit and take the escalator up to the bus stop are. You can take the 76 bus east (Nature Museum) if staying at Hotel Versey or The Willows, or just Uber to your final destination.

All CTA Blue Line Trains head towards downtown from ORD. All CTA trains and buses accept Apple Pay, so you can just use your phone as you go. Load the VENTRA APP before you arrive if you plan to use public transportation. www.ventrachicago.com We recommend getting off at the Logan Square stop if staying in Lakeview or Lincoln Park.
