There is time in between the ceremony and reception. Please enjoy the open bar during the cocktail hour from 6:00-7:00pm. No appetizers will be served at this time. Dinner will start at 7:00pm. There will be a buffet style for dinner, with different cuisines to choose from. We look forward to having you at our celebration!

There are highway roads in between the Westin Hotel and the reception.

We are prefer not to eat out, but when we are craving some delicious carne asada tacos with cilantro and onion, this is our favorite place! We cannot go to Chicago without stopping here for a bite to eat. We highly recommend stopping her for a bite to eat in between the ceremony and reception or after the reception!

Julia took Luis here when he visited her for the first time in Chicago back in 2016. This is a beautiful landmark in downtown Chicago, located on Michigan Avenue. It's a great place to site see and to enjoy a walk in the city. You can take the Metra train or take a 30 minute Uber ride from Lombard, IL. However, Chicago does have LOTS of traffic during rush hour, so plan your schedule to downtown Chicago accordingly.

No, there will be no appetizers during cocktail hour. Open bar is on us! We recommend that you get a small bite during the three hour rest time prior to coming to the reception. We would love all of you to last for the whole night of the celebration.

The cocktail hour will be from 6:00-7:00pm at the Carlisle Banquets. Our wedding reception is located in the far right room called "Lombard". Please enjoy the open bar before the wedding party arrives!

Chicago is a beautiful city to visit! However, if you go during the rest time, there is a very high chance that you will get stuck in typical Chicago traffic, and not make it in time for the reception. We recommend that you go visit Chicago on Friday or Sunday after the wedding celebration.

For the church ceremony, please dress in modest clothing. For the reception, dress to impress! We would like to take pictures and capture beautiful memories with all of our guests. Also, there will be a lot of dancing, so wear shoes that you can last the whole night in.

There will be four buffet food stations at the reception. You may choose to eat from any of the stations. Delicious cake will be served after dinner.

We love kids, and we are all about family. However, this will be an adult only event with an open bar. Only guests with invitations, including their plus ones, will be counted for at the reception venue.

If you plan on enjoying a few drinks with us, we recommend that you carpool or Uber to the reception. There is parking located behind the building. Many hotels are located by the reception, so if you stay close, you will not have a far drive!
