Why are we foregoing a traditional ceremony?

Answer

As all of you know, Gage and I have never been ones to do things just for the sake of doing them. So, in this season of our lives, we wanted to highlight what should be most important in a marriage -- each other. We're keeping it intimate and simple because we wanted to focus on the love we have for one another because at the end of the day, that's all that matters.

So... what are we doing?

Answer

Our "dating anniversary" is February 11. We don't see a point in having a dating anniversary and a marriage anniversary, so we're consolidating! Our "marriage ceremony" will consist of Gage and I exchanging vows and then signing our marriage license on February 11, 2024! In addition to celebrating us as a couple, we could not leave out our families who have also supported us for 16 years. So, with the money that we would have spent on a big wedding, we decided to surprise our families with a trip to Hawaii! We will be on the Big Island of Hawaii from February 12-16, a first time experience for all of us! We also knew that we couldn't leave out our friends and extended family who have loved us dearly throughout the years. It's hard on Gage and I to live so far away from everybody at the moment, so we wanted to bring the people important to us together to share some love and laughter, and some good food and drink.

Are we still doing a honeymoon?

Answer

We plan on it! But life is everchanging and we look ahead to the prospect of big opportunities and possibilities. We'll let you know what we decide!

Let us simplify: please join us on April 27, 2024 at 11:30am at the Electric Loft in Pomona, CA for a nice meal! Gage and I will be married by then! This is the only event we would love your attendance at. We will have formal invitations to this brunch after we get married and will be updating this website as necessary.
