Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We will have a professional photographer and videographer capturing both the ceremony and reception. We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Formal or semi-formal. This means that Tuxes and Gowns are encouraged but suits and cocktail dresses are also welcome. The Bride encourages all guests of Kurdish heritage to wear Kurdish clothing.

Am I allowed to bring a guest or plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not host any children at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding. Invitations will be specific and will include the names of any children who are invited. However, this evening will be a "night out" for yourself!

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, we will have a cocktail hour after the ceremony. You will be able to enjoy light refreshments during the transition in to the reception. For those opting out of celebrating our ceremony with us and instead electing to join us for the reception, this gap would be your time of arrival.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat. The reception begins at 5:30. Dinner service will begin shortly after.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request that you RSVP no later than December 15th, 2024. This will ensure we are able to include everyone in the final steps in our wedding planning!

Will there be a bar?

Answer

We have elected to have a dry wedding. We want to enjoy every second of the start of our union with those that we love! We kindly ask that our choice is respected.
