We have dozens of museums in Chicago and several of them are located near each other. You can find the Field Museum of Natural History (bride was a research intern here back in '07-'08), Shedd Aquarium, and Adler Planetarium (America's first planetarium).

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by July 1st, 2024. We know life can be unpredictable, so please keep us updated if anything changes.

What's the dress code?
Answer
Cocktail attire! Cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits or pantsuits, slacks and a jacket, suit and tie. It's the last month of summer, so feel free to wear your favorite summer colors.

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited seating, our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

We love kids, but seating is limited so we will not be able to accomodate your little ones.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is a lot with limited space and street parking is available but may be limited. We recommend taking a cab, ride sharing, or public transit if you will be drinking.

Do you have any accommodation recommendations?
Answer
We have a room block at the Godfrey Hotel, please feel free to visit the "Travel" section for more information. If you are interested in booking a hotel elsewhere or an AirBnB/Vrbo, we recommend the West Loop, Fulton Market, River West, River North neighborhood if you are looking to stay close to the venue and in the city. If you are interested in staying outside of the city, the western suburbs such as Oak Park, River Forest and Forest Park may be good options.
