The Adventure Begins
Dan started at AveXis and became Kim's coworker. she'd collect testing samples from him, sometimes dropping them on the floor while declaring loudly that "I'm fine, it's fine, this is fine" 🧪 Little did Dan know that a coworker was already secretly planning their marriage after his first day (no, the coworker wasn't Kim!)
First Date
Kim and Dan went to trivia night at Avanti Boulder and somehow found themselves in 2nd Place, winning two Tito's Vodka bloody mary glasses in the process. Long live the Goofy Guessers! 🥈
Making It Official
Kim planned to meet Dan in Longmont for happy hour but unfortunately got hit in her car as she exited her neighborhood. Thus, Dan came down to Kim's home in Arvada with Thai food and wine to make sure she was ok. Later that night he asked her to be his girlfriend. She said yes! And that wasn't just the Thai food talking!

Dan bought Kim some Valentine's Day cookies, one of which looked like an sealed envelope with a heart and "wxwx" written on it. Kim jokes, "What's that supposed to stand for, Wugs and Kisses?" and that has, in fact, been what it stands for ever since 💌
First Trip Together
Kim and Dan went on their first trip together to see Molly and Zack in Sonoma, California. Here they discovered their mutual love for travel, good food, and adventures all over the world 🌎 They also biked the Golden Gate Bridge!
Best Trip Together (For Now)
The longest and farthest trip yet, Kim and Dan went on a three week trip across Vietnam. And even after all the planning, on-the-fly decision making, highs of extraordinary sights on a 3 day motorbike tour, lows of food poisoning from Bun Bo Hue, and escaping freedom island (you'll have to ask about that one) they came home confident they can take on anything life throws at them together ✈️
Making it REALLY Official
With the help of best friends Molly and Kendra, Dan proposed to Kim during a photoshoot in Central Park 💍She said yes! Again!

Shuttle to the Ceremony
August 30, 2025 2:45 pm - 3:30 pm
There is no parking onsite at the ceremony, so a shuttle will run starting at 2:45pm from the Steamboat Springs Wells Fargo parking lot (320 S Lincoln Ave, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487) to the ceremony location at La Joya Dulce. LAST SHUTTLE AT 3:30PM! The shuttles back to downtown (same dropoff location) will begin pickup from La Joya Dulce starting at 9:00pm.

Steamboat Springs City Shuttle
The city of Steamboat has a free shuttle service that runs all day until 1:00am for transportation between the ski resort area where most of the hotel and lodging options are located and Steamboat Springs downtown proper. On the day of the ceremony, take the city bus to our shuttle pickup location ( Wells Fargo parking lot, 320 S Lincoln Ave, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487)!

Fish Creek Falls
Fish Creek Falls trail was closed in early 2024 for trail maintenance. It is slated to reopen in July 2025. If reopened, we highly recommend this as a beautiful hike to take in the Summer.
Strawberry Park Natural Hot Springs
A bit of a drive into the wilderness, but definitely the best hot springs in Steamboat! Clothing optional after sundown ;) Note: Cash only payment upon arrival, making a reservation ahead of time is HIGHLY recommended since it'll be a holiday weekend (reservations open up 25-30 days in advance).
