The Vietnamese tea ceremony, Lễ Đám Hỏi or Lễ Rước Dâu, is a traditional pre-wedding event symbolizing the union of two families. During the ceremony, the groom’s family visits the bride’s home to offer gifts, including tea, fruits, and betel leaves, all wrapped in red. The bride and groom serve tea to their parents and elders as a sign of respect, and in return, receive blessings and advice for their marriage. This ceremony highlights the importance of family and paying homage to ancestors in Vietnamese culture.
