FAQs

Question

May our kids join?

Answer

While we love the family unit, we are looking for our wedding to be an intimate, serene experience...as well as a date night out for the parents! We ask that all guests with children arrange for childcare outside of the venue.

Question

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones will be indicated on individual wedding invitations.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Please see the dress codes indicated for each event as listed in the "schedule" section above.

Question

I'm flying in. How far is the wedding from the airport?

Answer

The main airport serving the region is Albany International Airport. The airport is approximately 1-1.5 hours by car to Lake George.

Question

Do I have to travel between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Nope! Stay put. All "day of" wedding events are taking place onsite at The Lake George Club. The only events requiring transportation are the rehearsal dinner & welcome party the night prior to the wedding, as well as the wedding after party.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and from the venue?

Answer

We're working on it! Check back for updates

Question

Are uber, lyft, and taxi options available?

Answer

Yes! There is a 24-hour taxi service in the region as well as any lyft or uber you can come by. Please note that October is the region's off-season, thus lyfts and ubers may be more scarce this time of year.

Question

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The Lake George Club has plenty of space for all of our family and friends' vehicles

Question

If I live on the lake, may I come by boat?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. There are minimal dock spots at the club, and we would like to reserve those available for the grandfather and father of the bride!

Question

Does the venue offer lodging?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. The club is strictly a members only restaurant and event space. Please see our list of options for nearby accommodations!

Question

Is the Inn of Lake George (welcome/after party venue) available for lodging?
