Think timeless and elevated — long dresses for women and dress pants with a collared shirt (suits encouraged) for men. The night will have a dark, moody, and romantic feel, so please join us in the look with darker, elegant, fall/wintery colors.
To help us keep our ceremony intimate, we kindly request all guests to silence and stow away cell phones until the reception. We promise to share all of the beautiful professional photos with you afterward, taken by the lovely & incredibly talented, Karlee Mikkelson. Thank you so much!

The Charmant Hotel is where the ceremony will be held and where Lindsay + Max are staying all weekend! It's a luxury boutique hotel with a beautiful restaurant, coffee shop & bar. The Charmant is hosting their annual Holiday Pop-Up Shop event on Saturday the 8th from 10 am to 1 pm. This special event brings together talented makers and artisans from the Coulee region and surrounding communities. Browse a handpicked variety of home décor, fashion, accessories, and other unique finds—perfect for the holiday season.

The Hampton Inn & Suites is a .2 mile walk from The Charmant (where the ceremony will be held). This hotel is $159 per night + taxes under the Braatz-Johnson Wedding Block and includes free breakfast and an indoor salt-water pool.
Shuttle
Shuttle from The Charmant to Dinner

A shuttle will take the entire group from The Charmant to SAGRA for the cocktail hour & dinner. After dinner, the shuttle will also take the group to a little 'surprise' to end the night!

Another great restaurant & lunch spot recommendation for Saturday! 4 Sisters Wine Bar & Tapas Restaurant is located in the heart of historic La Crosse, across from Riverside Park, with views of the majestic upper Mississippi River (and just across the street from The Charmant). 4 Sisters specializes in Tapas-style cuisine with unique selections for lunch, dinner and everything in-between.
The Starlite Lounge
If you are still in the party mood Friday night after our 'Welcome Party' event, this could be a fun & unique place to pop into! The Starlite Lounge, a 1950's style cocktail lounge, is located on the second floor above Buzzard Billy's. The Rat Pack atmosphere features a variety of fun martinis, wines and single malt scotch.
