What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional. We ask that all ladies wear pink! or Spring colors. Our ceremony will take place outside followed by an outdoor reception. Please be mindful of footwear as this will be an outdoor occasion celebrated on grass.

What are the transportation options to and from the wedding?

Answer

There is limited parking at the Johnston. Transportation will be provided to and from the venue for all guests staying within the hotel blocks. We ask that all guests park at the Hobcaw Creek Plantation Clubhouse, located at 501 Hobcaw Bluff Drive. Shuttles will be available to and from the Johnston Residence. No on-site parking is available. Ubers are also available in Mount Pleasant. Ubers can be dropped off at the Johnston's residence at 435 Channel Creek Court.

What if the hotel block says that it is full?

If the hotel block is full when you are trying to book, please reach out to Donna (Mother of the Bride) or one of us. We will do our best to add additional accommodations if they are available.

What's the weather like in Charleston in June?

Answer

Please check the weather before packing. The temperature could be anywhere from the mid-70s to high 90s in mid-June. Please keep in mind both the ceremony and reception will be outside on grass.

Should I get something off the registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is gift enough, but, should you wish to give a gift as well, a cash gift to put towards our transition into living together in New York City would be greatly appreciated. We are also registered at Coastal Cupboard at 644 Long Point Road in Mount Pleasant.
