Jeremiah and I had a mutual friend, who he ran track and Cross Country with. I one day saw Jeremiah posted on our friends Snapchat , I responded with “ boy oh boy is he handsome” , “ what’s his instagram”. I then followed him and thought he would text me right away … but that didn’t happen. In early August my volleyball program had a car wash and Jeremiah pulled in, to support his sister who was also on the team. I asked while washing his car if he went to Chaffey, When he said yes I freaked out inside….but what happened next was even better! On September 13, 2019 our high school was having a senior spirit rally and a football game that night, we both attended the football game and after we went to Canes with our separate group of friends. That night I was walking into canes and saw our friend and shouted hi to him. Jeremiah was next to him and said “ no hi for me” so I walked over and gave him a side hug and said “ hi Jeremiah”. That night I texted him on instagram and gave him my number…. and here we are over 4 years later planning our forever 🤍💍

It was a early Tuesday morning, before our first class our senior year. I met him in front of the math & science building and his sister was recording when Jeremiah gave me sunflowers and pulled out a volleyball which had “will you be my girlfriend” written on it. Of course I said yes. I never in a billion years would have thought I would find love this young.🤍

The day he proposed, I was not having the best day to be honest with you. He wanted to do a photoshoot, have lunch and read our bibles at Mt Baldy. I did not comply at first haha, in fact I fell asleep when he drove over to get me. I told him I was not gonna get all pretty for the photoshoot because I wasn’t feeling good. We went and picked up lunch, went to the creek to pray, eat, read our bible and love language book… shortly after he wanted to take some pictures with the beautiful creek in the background… this is not abnormal for us because we love taking pictures. He put up his tripod and we posed for our picture… I said “let’s go look and reset the camera for another one.” He then grabbed my arm as I was walking away and was telling me how much he loved me and he wants to spend the rest of his life with me and he then got down on one knee and said “ Will you marry me?” I was definitely ugly crying and turned around, when I turned back towards him I said “yes”. I could not stop crying and it felt like a dream 💍 I can’t wait to marry my best friend! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!! See you this Summer !!
