We highly recommend you stay here as well so we can spend as much time with you! We have secured discounted rates with the option of adding private roundtrip transfers to/from the airport. Grand Palladium is a family-friendly, all-inclusive resort composed of 4 hotels: White Sand, Colonial, Kantenah, and TRS Yucatan (adults only). While staying at White Sand, you have full access to the facilities in Colonial and Kantenah, including their pools, beaches, restaurants, and bars. You can walk or catch a golf cart at the main lobby to bring you around. Important Due Dates: November 10, 2024: $100 deposit to secure your room (fully refundable) December 18, 2024: final payment

Is it safe?
Answer
Yes! The US government assigns the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico (where the wedding will be held) as a Level 2 on their Travel Advisory Scale. To put this into perspective, this is the same rating they assign to France, Italy, UK, Philippines, Maldives, and Turks and Caicos. The Riviera Maya is visited by millions of international tourists every year. We personally traveled to the area November 2023 and felt very safe at all times! If you want to venture off the resort, book with trusted excursion companies or through your hotel.

Do I need a passport?
Answer
Yes. Please make sure your passport does not expire within 6 months of the travel date. It can take months to get a new passport, so please plan ahead!

Do I have to stay at the Grand Palladium White Sand resort?
Answer
We highly recommend you book at the same hotel we are staying at to make the most of our time together. Events prior to and after our wedding celebration will be held there! Otherwise, we recommend Hotel Xcaret, Hard Rock Riviera Maya, or Dreams Aventuras which are all within 20 minutes of the wedding venue.

Is transportation provided?
Answer
If you book through our travel agent, private transportation is offered from the airport to the hotel and back. Transportation will also be included from Grand Palladium White Sand resort to the wedding venue as well. If you choose to stay elsewhere, please notify us so we can arrange transportation for you to the wedding venue.

What airport should we fly to?
Answer
We recommend flying into Cancun International Airport. Tulum Airport is also now available with limited flight times. Please let our travel agent know if you will be flying to Tulum so that she can arrange transportation for you.

Is there a dress code?

Beach Formal. Please refrain from white dresses and shorts. For example, women can wear sundresses with wedges or dressy sandals and men can wear short-sleeved, button-up shirts with relaxed chinos.

There are many beautiful Cenotes in the Riviera Maya. The Xenotes Tour allows you to visit 4 cenotes, which includes cliff jumping, zip-lining, kayaking, and more!
