The Waterside Inn
We have a block of rooms set aside for our guests. Call the reservation desk and reference the Talmage + Meakins wedding block to get the rates referenced below. This hotel has some lovely views of the lake, please feel free to mention that you would like a lake view when booking and they will try to accommodate! Most of the suites are equipped with a full kitchen, and some had a washing machine, so if you plan to stay for a while this may work well for you! This is located just outside Toronto, please see below for location and pricing. The Waterside Inn is about 20 minutes from the venue by uber or taxi, traffic depending. It is also 7 minutes away from the GO train. You'd need to find a scheduled train online, walk 7 minutes to the train, buy your ticket at the station, and ride it until Exhibition Station. From there you could walk to the venue, or take a streetcar closer, and cross one of the bridges toward the lake front.
Flight
Pearson Airport
If you're flying into Toronto, you'll most likely fly in through Pearson Airport. This is about 20 minutes away from the Waterside Inn by uber or taxi. Be aware, this can often be delayed by traffic or events.

Things To Do
CN Tower
Near the lake shore in downtown Toronto, take an elevator to the top of Toronto and spin around to see the whole city from above! It's a truly awesome view. Book a time slot ahead to beat the traffic.
Steam Whistle Brewery
Just south of the CN Tower this brewery makes a beer that is a Toronto staple. Built into an old train house the tour is fun, and they usually give out a free beer or two!
St. Lawrence Market
This is a lovely market in the downtown core of Toronto. It has the Canadian classic Pea Meal Bacon sandwich at a few locations inside, and whether you are looking for unique cheese, meat, or seafood, it's all here!
Ossington Avenue
Stretching from Queen to Dundas, this is a fun strip of bars and eateries in the trendy Queen Street West neighborhood. Check out Superpoint if you like pizza. Bellwoods Brewery makes one of Liams fave beers, Jelly King.
Toronto Parks
Check out: Trinity Bellwoods Park for a downtown option High Park for a large open space, with trail walks
Toronto Island Park
Visit some beaches! Book a ferry ahead or jump on a water taxi to explore this park. The ferry takes about 15-20 minutes, be aware the ferry home is usually busy.
Niagara Falls
Never gets old! There's so much water! Way better than the American side! It takes 1.5+ hours from Toronto in a car, or jump on the Go Train.
