Charleston International Airport
The closest commercial airport to Kiawah Island is the Charleston International Airport (CHS). It's a 50 - 60 minute drive to the island (depending on where you're staying). While Uber and Lyft can get you on the Dunlin or Kiawah Island from the airport, these services do not operate in or around Johns Island or Kiawah Island. We highly recommend renting a car for the most convenient mode of transportation to and from the airport and so you can explore the island on your own.
