Can I bring a date?

We want our wedding to be an intimate celebration with our closest loved ones. If your invitation includes a plus one, their name or ‘and guest’ will appear on the invitation. Otherwise, we kindly ask you attend solo. Thank you for understanding!

Our wedding will be an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided to or from the venue. Guests should plan to park in the hourly parking garages surrounding the hotel. Street parking is also available. The Visitation Hotel also has a valet option. Recommended parking garages within walking distance (2-4 blocks) to the venue include: Church Street Garage (17 E Church Street, Frederick, MD) Carroll Creek Garage (44 E Patrick Street, Frederick MD) East All Saints Street Garage (125 E. All Saints Street, Frederick MD)

No, transportation will not be provided. Please plan accordingly.

Is it okay to give cash gifts?

Your presence is our best gift, but if you wish, cash gifts are welcome.

Can I take photographs during the ceremony?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our very special ceremony.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be indoors. The cocktail hour will take place outdoors and underneath a covered tent. Guests will walk to the tent immediately following the ceremony. It will be a 4-5 minute walk from the church to the hotel where we will host both the cocktail hour and the dinner reception.
