We all remember the COVID-19 shutdown of 2020, who could forget, right? Well, that is where our story begins! During the shutdown, bars were closed, and being bartenders, we were bored. Naturally, that lead to a lot of bartender groups on Facebook where we would chat about our local happenings within these national/international groups. It would just so happen, we were on the same thread joking about a back room bar speakeasy type of setup so we could get back to work. This lead to us Facebook stalking each other and asking around to our mutual friends about each other. In Early March of 2020, we started talking online, then on the phone, then naturally, decided it was time to hang out. With the bars and restaurants closed, there were limited options. This took us to Fred Meyer's to go on a booze run together to check our compatibility, if you will. We had a great time, we both got our booze, and we went our separate ways. The next day, we decided to hang out again, so we went to Bretta's apartment. After that first day together, Brandon returned to his own apartment for a single night before heading back over to see Bretta again. From there, he just never really left. A few days later, we packed Brandon's apartment up and moved him in with Bretta! We still joke about "our first date" when we shop at Fred Meyer's, which is nearly weekly. We get to enjoy our love story over and over again 🥰
