FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by September 19th, so we can finalize all the fun details and make sure your seat is saved! You can RSVP directly on this website- it will only take a minute. If we don't hear from you by the deadline, we'll follow up with a gentle reminder. Your response helps us tremendously with planning, and we can't wait to hear that you'll be there!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm, and we kindly ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and settling in. We want everyone to be present and comfortable as we begin this special moment together - plus you won't want to miss the start of the ceremony!

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. We'd love for guests to dress nicely, but comfortably! For women, cocktail dresses or a stylish skirt and top are perfect. For men, a suit or dress pants with a button down and blazer works great- ties are optional. Since our wedding is in October and parts of the evening may be outdoors, we recommend bringing a jacket or shawl just in case it gets chilly. Don't forget comfortable shoes- you will want to be ready for the dance floor!

Question

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guest refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We're choosing to have an unplugged ceremony so that everyone can be fully present with us in the moment. Our amazing photographer will be capturing every detail, and we can't wait to share those beautiful memories with you afterward. Feel free to snap away during cocktail hour and the reception- we'd love to see your photos from the celebration!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is convenient parking available on-site at the Butterfly Pavilion. There will be clear signage when you arrive. We recommend arriving early to give yourself time to park and make your way to the ceremony area.

Question

Is assistance available for guests who have difficulty walking or need help getting around?

Answer

Absolutely! For any guest who needs assistance, golf carts will be available to help transport you from the parking area to the ceremony and reception sites. Just let an event team member known when you arrive and they will be happy to arrange a ride for you to ensure you're comfortable and can fully enjoy the celebration!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus one, then yes- we'd love for you to bring a guest! If not we hope you'll still join us solo to enjoy the celebration. We have carefully planned our guest list to keep the event intimate and we truly appreciate your understanding and support.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have chosen to make our wedding an adults- only celebration. We hope this gives parents a chance to relax and enjoy a fun night out! Thank you so much for understanding and helping us create a special evening for everyone.

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

We'll be serving a delicious dinner with a variety of options to satisfy all palates. There will be appetizers during cocktail hour, followed by a buffet style meal. Whether you prefer a savory meat, a vegetarian dish, or have special dietary restrictions, we will do our best to accommodate you- just be sure to let us know when you RSVP! You will want to stick around for our very own s'mores bar for dessert!
