Our StoryOur Story
David and Lauren have known each other since their years at Germantown High School, but their love story didn’t begin until after graduation. Lauren had just finished her freshman year of college in 2018. She traveled home to spend the summer with her family and reconnecting with friends. David reached out to Lauren asking if she wanted to come to Harrington Beach state park with him, just as friends. Little did they know that one outing would be the start of their years long relationship. Three years of long distance isn’t an easy ask for any couple, but Lauren and David made it through seamlessly. Plenty of late night Skype sessions, phone calls, and weekend trips kept them together. David had driven more miles than Lauren had her entire time living out of state.
