Flight
Ted Stevens International Airport
Fly into Anchorage, AK with ample time to get to the venue, whether you stay the night in Anchorage or go straight to Soldotna. The drive to Soldotna, AK from Anchorage is about 2 hours, so please book transportation accordingly.

Housing Options
There are multiple options for lodging in Anchorage and Soldotna. There are hotels and airbnbs located in both. The wedding venue also has a large RV park onsite that you are welcome to use if you own one or choose to rent one.

Things To Do
Homer
Homer is one of our favorite places in Alaska (hints why our engagement pictures were taken here). This cute fishing town offers many beautiful views as well as cute local shops. The Homer spit is the second largest spit in the world and we highly recommend visiting! This is about 1.5 hours South of Soldotna.
Seward
Seward is a beautiful fishing town 2.5 hours from Anchorage and 2 hours from Soldotna. There are various shops and walks/hikes in this town. Seward is a great place to camp, either in town or at Exit Glacier. This is personally one of my (Lauren) favorite places.
Whittier
You guessed it! Another fishing town we love! Whittier is a very small town that opens up to Prince William Sound. The only way to get to Whittier is by going through a 2.6 mile tunnel THROUGH a mountain. We recommend renting some kayaks and exploring the Sound. The 26 Glacier Cruise is a fun way to take a trip around Prince William Sound.
Hiking
Along the Seward Highway, there are many hiking options with different levels of difficulty. If you are interested in any hiking, check out the AllTrails app for difficulty and lengths. You are welcome to ask Austin or I for any recommendations as well. Explore the beautiful state we fell in love with!
Fishing Charters
There are fishing charters out of Homer, Seward and Whittier that you can book online. Salmon most likely will not be running in the rivers yet, but the charters will allow you to go catch some salmon, halibut, rock fish or cod from the ocean. There are also various charters for fly fishing where you can catch trout or grayling!
Breweries
Anchorage has many local breweries as well as a cider company if you chose to stay in town for a while. There are multiple breweries on the way to Soldotna from Anchorage. Starting with Girdwood brewing company, then Cooper landing brewing and ending with 2 breweries in Soldotna- St. Elias brewing and Kenai River Brewing Company. We have enjoyed them all!
