Here's what to expect during our wedding weekend. *Friday 3/27 - Hotel check-in is 4PM Welcome Party will be in the Utica Room at Starved Rock Lodge from 5PM to 10PM We will have pizza and desserts, along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, in the Utica Conference Room at Starved Rock Lodge. The conference room is directly next to the indoor swimming pool, so feel free to bring a swim suit as well! *Saturday 3/28 2PM - The bride and groom will be conducting a first look with the kids at this time and will be taking photos in and around the Starved Rock Lodge. If you see us, make sure to yell out a 'whoop whoop!' 5PM - The ceremony begins in the Great Hall and the bride and groom will act as though they were not just reminding four children to "say cheese" over and over. Immediately following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour in the Starved Rock Room. 7PM - Dinner will begin in the Great Hall with dancing to immediately follow in the Starved Rock Room.

**Please note that The Lodge requires a two night stay.** Must call the Lodge to book with the wedding block Swiatek/O'Toole. Unfortunately there is no capability to book with the wedding block online. The phone number to call the Lodge to book a blocked room is 815-667-4211. The room types available in the block are two queen beds in the new wing, two full beds in the original wing, one king bed in the original wing, as well as a small number of blocked cabins. Please be aware, cabins are dispersed among the property and are not connected to The Lodge (so there will be outdoor walking required if a cabin is booked.) All wedding-related events, on both Friday and Saturday, will be held at the Starved Rock Lodge.

If planning on staying only Saturday night, there are hotels in nearby Ottawa, IL. Some examples are the Fairfield In & Suites by Marriott Ottawa, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ottawa, and the Comfort Inn Ottawa. Please note that there is no reserved block of rooms at these hotels.
