It all started with a few friendly texts on Bumble that quickly turned into a spark of interest, the kind that makes you look forward to the next reply. That spark soon led to our first date. Our first date at House of Pho in Hayward set the tone for everything that followed. What began as a simple dinner turned into an endless conversation, each story and shared laugh drawing us closer. We stayed so long, enjoying each other’s company, that the restaurant owner eventually had to ask us to leave. The more we talked, the more we discovered how much we had in common, and how naturally we connected. As we walked out that night, we both knew we wanted to see each other again, it truly felt like the beginning of something special. From there, our adventures came quickly. Our second date took us to Claw Shack and Hui Lau Shan where we discovered even more about each other, sharing our favorite colors, foods, snacks, family stories, and hobbies. Soon after, we were mini-golfing, enjoying Thai food together, and spending every moment we could, from fun evenings to lunch breaks at work. Before long, we were practically inseparable. Then came a weekend when we couldn’t see each other. The distance made us realize just how much we missed one another, and even a phone call felt exciting and special. In those conversations, it became clear how deeply we cared for each other and how ready we were to make our relationship official. That weekend, we exchanged our first “I love you” and promised to be each other’s boyfriend and girlfriend. Together, we filled our days with both big and small moments to remember. We shared Daniel’s first haiku in the rose garden, braved our first haunted house with Daniel protecting Amy every step of the way, celebrated a special Christmas with dim sum in Chinatown, admired the giant gingerbread house at the Fairmont, and ended the night watching the Nutcracker ballet. The more time we spent together, the more we knew we had found the one we had been searching for. We began introducing each other to our families, marking another meaningful chapter in our relationship. Daniel met Amy’s family for the first time over a warm and memorable Thanksgiving meal at her home. Not long after, Amy met Daniel’s family in Hong Kong, sharing a delicious home-cooked meal in his family’s apartment and enjoying traditional dim sum together over yum cha. We knew we had found what we were always searching for, a love that is everlasting, and endless. This journey has been filled with laughter, adventures, and the comfort of knowing we are each other’s home. Now, we want to share this special day with you and celebrate the union of our love. Together, as Tiger and Walry, two peas in a pod and best friends forever, we invite you to join us in honoring the start of our forever.
