We Found Love in a Hopeless Place (COVID-19 Pandemic)

Megan and Brian met during the crazy time that was the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. It was that odd time between things being open and shut down again. Upon them both swiping right on Bumble, Megan posed the question, "How's your pandemic going?" Thrilled by his ability to type in full sentences with correct punctuation, Megan knew Brian was different from those other fish in the sea. For Brian, he had found someone who tolerated his excessive puns and responded with thoughtful, funny prose. Megan and Brian complement each other in just the right ways. With both of them being introverts, they can always agree on the right time to leave a party. While Megan likes to live in organized chaos, Brian provides a method to her madness. Whether they are out chasing the northern lights, or having homemade hot pot in front of the TV, Megan and Brian share a special bond. In Spring of 2025, on a trip to Banff, Brian brought Megan to a spot where they first came with Megan's parents a few years prior. He got down on one knee and asked Megan, "Do you know why we're here?" Thinking it was such a sentimental spot. Megan, who had been drugged up on Gravol during that family road trip and not remembering the spot at all replied, "Yes!" Because duh, he was there to propose. Nonetheless, she said yes and here we are! Note from the couple: We eloped in September of 2025, in a private ceremony! This event is to celebrate our first year of marriage and the many years to come. We will be airing the WORLD PREMIERE of our elopement video! Please bring your dancing shoes, appetite, and good vibes. We look forward to celebrating with you, but please note that since we are already married, if you can't attend due to distance (fuel prices are insane right now), or any other reason, we completely understand!
