We first met in high school in our tiny town of Windsor Locks — the kind of place where everyone knows everyone. Junior year, we were just classmates who shared a few mutual friends. But senior year, those shared friendships turned into a friend group that did everything together. Somewhere along the way, our friendship quietly became something more, and in April 2019, we officially started dating. After graduation, we spent every waking moment together — like a summer straight out of a Nicholas Sparks novel. We were just two kids in love, soaking up every second, even though we knew August would take us 1,800 miles apart — me to Florida and Miggy up north for college. Everyone thought we were crazy for staying together, but we knew it would be worth it. Four years later, we proved them right. I’ll never forget my last trip to Connecticut to watch his baseball game at Westconn, knowing it was the final time we’d have to say goodbye like that. It was one of the best feelings in the world — knowing we made it. Well… second best to the day we promised forever. That day was a dream. Just the two of us, our two dogs, a backyard fire, music playing, dancing under the stars — our little family. It was beautiful in its simplicity. And we can’t wait for a lifetime filled with those same beautifully simple moments. Now we’re living in Florida together with our two dogs, building a life rooted in love and our shared passion for helping animals through fostering and volunteering at a local rescue. From High school friends to forever - and this is only the beginning of our greatest adventure yet! 🤍
