We met at Northeastern State University, just two “friends” who always seemed to end up in late-night conversations about life, love, and everything in between. We weren’t trying to fall for each other, but it couldn’t be denied. Life took us in different directions for a while, but no matter where we went or how much time passed, we always found our way back to each other. After one last “what if,” we decided to finally give it a real shot, no half-measures, no what-ifs. Just us, fully in. Looking back, it’s hard not to believe in the invisible string theory — that so many pieces of our lives were tied together long before we even met, like it was written for us to find each other. Since then, our relationship has become something steady, intentional, and deeply rooted. Dalton is calm, strong, and grounded. Kyzia brings the wit, honesty, and boldness that keeps life interesting. We’re different in all the right ways, balancing each other, challenging each other, and growing together. Our faith is at the center of everything we do. It shapes how we love, how we forgive, and how we lead. Together, we’re building a life and a family grounded in truth, peace, and purpose. Loving each other has made us better, as individuals and as partners. What started as a friendship has become the foundation for the life we’ve always prayed for.
