Officially, we met at a cute little restaurant in downtown Burlington. Technically, we matched on the Bumble dating app. It started with a few drinks and great conversation. Jenn sympathy laughed at Kyle's attempts at dad jokes and that earned her "points" in Kyle's eyes. Between the laughs and the plate of crispy brussel sprouts, the relationship set sail. We grew through car troubles, job changes, and going through seasons of life as a unit. There was never judgment of our pasts and always unwavering support toward our future. This always included Jenn's son, Izek. Our story has to include him. Izek and Kyle became best of friends that overstimulated Jenn with Gregorian chanting, bad impressions, and too many fart jokes. Kyle won Izek's approval by asking him for his mother's hand in marriage. Our union is a celebration in the formation of our new family.
