Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.
This will be the location of both the ceremony and the reception. Doors will be open to guests at 5 pm, and the ceremony will start at 5:30 pm. Immediately afterwards, there will be a cocktail hour and then buffet dinner of pizza, salad, appetizers, and, of course, cake. We chose Sonny's in part because we were members of their wine club. Naturally, there will be an open bar of wine, beer, cocktails, and NA beverages available throughout the evening.

Please come join us for a nightcap! The Raven holds a special place for both of us. It's where we had our first date, where we became regulars when we first lived together, and where we also took our engagement photos. We love this bar for the cheap drinks, neighborhood feel, and did we mention cheap drinks? The Raven is a 15-minute walk or short car ride from the wedding venue. The bar is cash only with an ATM on-site.

We've reserved a block of rooms at The Doyle Hotel in Dupont Circle. The hotel is a short car ride from our venue and located directly on Dupont Circle. The neighborhood is very walkable to cafes, restaurants, and shopping, and is fairly central in DC.

No problem! There are any number of close by Airbnb/VRBOs and hotels across the city to choose from.

Will there be parking available?
Answer
While there is street parking available on Georgia Avenue, Kenyon Street, and Irving Street, we would recommend taking an Uber, Lyft, or ride share. We are reserving the parking spaces outside Sonny's for pick-up and drop-off for wedding guests. So, it should be a breeze.

Will the DJ be taking requests.
