Our love story
Taylor and Dan met way back in 2008 in a high school Spanish Class. Dan sat behind Taylor and quickly a friendship blossomed. Dan to this day still remembers the first time he made Taylor laugh and saw that breathtaking smile of hers. Taylor fondly remembers how cute and funny she thought he was. Unfortunately after high school, they went their separate ways for over 14 years but as they later discovered they truly never forgot one another. Fast forward to 2023, Dan reached out to Taylor and they immediately made plans to have dinner. What started out as a dinner to catch up with an old friend immediately turned into a nearly 6 hour conversation about life, and frankly how they hadn't found their missing pieces yet. They quickly realized in that moment what they were missing was exactly what the other was saying they were missing too. Dan once again got to hear her laugh he remembered so fondly and Taylor got to feel herself smile again. A week or so later, Taylor had the scariest experience of her life and was hospitalized with a very serious condition. Dan showed up to the hospital everyday she was there and sat by her bedside for as long as he could. At one point, with things being unknown and fearing the worst, Taylor grabbed Dan's hand and bluntly asked "Are you in love with me?" To which Dan replied promptly."Yes". That's when they knew this was going to blossom into more than just a great friendship. Since that day, whether it was driving over an hour to be with Taylor for a short time before she slept or Taylor nesting into Dan's apartment and becoming a mommy to his beloved dog Lou, they have never left each other's side. Taylor likes to say that she loves the way Dan can make her laugh, he matches her wit and loves that he gave her her smile back. Dan would like to mention that Taylor gave him back his smile and thanks her and her family for accepting him into their family so quickly and lovingly. They are beyond excited and blessed to take this final step to become one forever and are thankful to share this moment with all of you.

Cali met Dan while they worked for Freebirds in 2021 and they quickly bonded over their mutual love of their shared career choice but became best friends very quickly. Cali has always been a true friend to Dan and is so excited that he has found his missing person.

Jake is Taylor's baby brother. Jake has always been Taylor's little protector since he is the only boy in the family but is excited to finally have a big brother in Dan.

Taylor and Sarah met while working at Collins Middle School in 2022. They bonded over their passion for teaching and quickly became friends whether they attended their student's volleyball games or just sat in each other's classroom talking about their days.

Terry met Taylor 5 years ago when they worked together at High Point Academy. They were team teachers for two years as they looped up with their kids. Terry has always been a man of God and Taylor is so excited that he will be their officiant.
