In the fall of 2019 at Loma Linda University, Krizelle and Jeremy formally met after being invited to join the same intramural flag football team by their mutual friend. A few weeks after the season ended, coupled with highly intriguing interactions between them, Jeremy finally gathered enough confidence to ask Krizelle out to brunch on a Thursday morning. She jokingly replied, “I’ll let you know,” with the intention of going. Before the food could even be placed on the table, the two softly vocalized their shared interest in each other. From that moment on, Krizelle and Jeremy have created a connection that continues to deepen through their shared interests in fitness/travel, life goals, and a mutual dislike of onions.
