We met in recovery, years ago... We were just two people, sitting in the same room, trying to be better versions of ourselves. We had always been friendly to one another, but it never advanced past the surface level conversations, and never went beyond the walls of recovery. We believe that God was preparing us for the right moment when both of us would be ready for each other. About three, maybe four years later, that day came. We had both been through our fair share of failed relationships, and both happened to be single at the same time. God pulled the strings, Paul made the move, and we ended up taking a "platonic" walk in the park. This was the first time we had been around each other outside of our recovery group. Things flowed so freely and easily with us. It was as if we had been best friends for a lifetime. Kristin felt relaxed, safe, and comfortable in the presence of Paul. The look he gave her as they talked for hours that day, was a love story in itself. From that day forward, both of them have been inseparable. They never take each other for granted, and they are certain that God put them together at exactly the right time. God is the foundation of their relationship and they couldn't be happier to see what else is in store for them as their life unfolds with each other.
