Historic District
The St. Augustine Historic District offers many activities for all ages. There are quite few bars, restaurants, shopping, tours of historical sites, trolley’s, churches, The Fountain of Youth, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, and Castillo de San Marcos. A short drive away is the Saint Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoo, the Saint Augustine LightHouse.(while distance wise they are near by, The Bridge of Lions is a drawbridge, traffic can be backed up adding about 10-15 minutes each way to your drive). Anastasia State Park and Beach are also accessed by heading east on the Bridge of Lions and could be a longer drive than miles. Vilano Beach is about 5miles or 15 minutes from downtown/Historic District St. Augustine but may be a better choice since it avoids the Bridge of Lions.

Sorry but only those specifically addressed by name on the formal wedding invitations will be welcomed. Please understand that we are limited by the venue as to the number of guests that may attend.

How should I travel from lodging to The White Room?
Answer
While many of the Airbnb’s and hotels in the Historic District are within a short walking distance to The White Room, 1 King Street, Ride Share services such as Uber, Lyft, etc maybe your best option. There is also a fee charged parking garage at 1 Cordova Street and a free shuttle The STAR Circulator which offers transportation throughout the city. We have also secured a limited number(FCFS) of paid parking spots from 3pm to 12:00am on Saturday 5/16 at Trinity Parish 215 St. George St. (Lot is on the left past the church, actual lot address is 5 Artillery Lane.) must mention McKernan/Farber wedding.
