We really recommend this option! Renting a car is the most flexible way to reach the hotel, especially if you plan to explore the area (Mount Olympus & the coast). Car rental at the airport: Hertz Thessaloniki Sixt Thessaloniki Airport Avis Greece All have desks directly at the airport arrivals area.
You can arrange a private transfer or take a taxi directly from the airport. This is the option if you prefer not to drive, but it's pricey.
Only for brave / experienced travellers! Public transport is possible but takes longer (3+ hrs): Airport bus to Thessaloniki city Then train or intercity bus to Katerini Short taxi ride to the hotel

THIS IS THE WEDDING'S VENUE TOO! Please note that the hotel is fully booked for one night stays, they require a two night stay to book on the date of our wedding. However, there are many hotels close by where you can book a room if you do not wish to stay two nights!
Hotel
2min by car - 8 min by foot This is the closest hotel to the venue
Hotel
8 min by car This hotel is close by if you have a car, they still have rooms available for the night of the wedding and is pretty affordable!
Hotel
11min by car A very beautiful hotel in the heart of Litochoro. It requires a car but it's pretty close and worth staying in! They have many kinds of rooms that can accommodate also larger groups.

We’ve already included a +1 where needed, and all other guests are invited specifically by name. When you RSVP, you’ll also be able to see who is included in your party. As much as we’d love to say yes to everyone, we’re only able to accommodate the guests already listed on the invitation.
Yes! We’ll have a dedicated person there for the children all evening, with activities to keep them happily busy, so the grown-ups can enjoy themselves too. We really want parents to be able to relax and celebrate with us, so we made sure the children will be looked after throughout the evening. And don’t worry, they won’t be whisked away somewhere else: they’ll stay in the same area as everyone.
There is plenty of parking at the Hotel.
That really depends on when you’re arriving. As this will be a destination wedding for many of you, if you’re planning to come a little earlier, we would definitely recommend staying somewhere you’d enjoy visiting, whether that’s Thessaloniki or another nearby place. Litochoro is lovely, but it is a small and quiet town, even if it does have the rather impressive advantage of being right by Mount Olympus. Thessaloniki, on the other hand, has so much to see and do, so it could be a great option if you’d like to make a little trip out of it. Our recommendation would be to stay in Thessaloniki if you’d like to explore the city, and then head to Litochoro for the wedding night on the 5th, since it's about a 45min drive from Thessaloniki. This way, you can also enjoy brunch with us on the next day!
It’s a little too early for an exact forecast just yet, but early September in this area is usually still warm and summery during the day. You can generally expect sunny to very warm weather, especially in Thessaloniki, with temperatures often feeling very pleasant for summer clothes. That said, evenings can get cooler! Our advice would be to dress in light, summery clothes during the day, but to also bring a light jacket, shawl, or something similar for the evening, just in case.
For the BBQ on September 3rd after the town hall, it’s a very casual get-together, so please don’t stress about it, just come as you are! For the wedding, we’d love to see everyone looking lovely in wedding-appropriate attire, but we’re not imposing a strict dress code, specific colours, or anything overly formal. We’re much more interested in everyone feeling comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate than in policing other people's clothing!
There will be grass, there will be beach, and there may be some very questionable life choices made in high heels... So while you should absolutely wear whatever makes you feel lovely, we do recommend keeping the setting in mind. If you’re planning on heels, bringing a pair of flats is probably a very wise idea.
If you’re staying in Thessaloniki itself and not outside the city, it’s actually very walkable, and they even have a brand new metro now. Not joking, it was opened in 2024! So for getting around the city, that is definitely a great option. In fact, we would recommend walking or using public transport within Thessaloniki, as driving in the city centre is... an experience. But if you’re staying outside the city, or if you’d like to explore more of the area, we really recommend renting a car. It will make getting around much easier, and if you want to visit Thessaloniki city centre, you can always park on the outskirts and head in from there. For getting to Litochoro, we would also honestly recommend a car. Public transport is technically an option, but it may also test your character in ways we do not wish upon you. No really, just rent a car, you deserve some peace in your life. And if you’d rather carpool, just let us know and we can put you in touch with other guests, or with local guests who will be driving there too.
No, we won't have a registry, but for anyone who would still like to give us something, we’ll have a card box and a guestbook at the wedding for contributions to our honeymoon. We are lucky enough to already have plates, glasses, and assorted household objects. At this point, what would really enrich our home is us being temporarily away from it.
Please let us know about them in the RSVP form at the bottom of the page, or let our wedding planner know directly.
If you are struggling to find accommodation for the evening of the wedding, please let us know or contact our wedding planner and we will try to help you!
